Real Super Powers

Two things have happened within rapid sucession of one another. Things that have shaken me to the core. You have to understand, in my life, these things don't happen very quickly. But now things seem to be speeding up, hence my convergence topic before. First a man blocked me, then electrokinesis just as people began to lose their powers, and now two new things.
My friend, the angry, violent one in hospital? His ability was to turn his anger into his own strength. Huge strength. He got hospitalised, and has been so for the last week and a bit. He was still as angry as ever, but had no-one to fight. I've been visiting every day, most of the time hanging back and probing his mind. I thought I had found the subconscious 'nub' where his anger triggered his massive strength. Today, when I visited him, he was furious, but it was gone. I know that's sort of what I've been looking for a way to do; take away what makes him really dangerous. But this...this scares me. It's just gone. I'm not 100% sure that I was right; maybe something else went. But with a man who blocks powers nearby, and powerless spreading across the world, I find it hard not to feel something. I mean it's just gone. He hasn't noticed anything yet, but it doesn't matter. Something or someone has really taken his ability, or he has somehow blocked it himself (highly unlikely since he used it so frequently). Thing is, it doesn;t fit in with the battery-like powerless reported across america. So it's not connected to whatever's going on there. I just don't understand.
Also, about three days from now I've started having these dreams. Except where dreams are meant to be blurry so that you can't remember them? These only last for a few seconds, like glimpses through a window or something, but I can remember every sight, every smell, every sound. They've all been of the same person. He didn;t look at me or anything, and I;ve researched the dream phenomenon. Its supposedly a subconscious reflection on your anxieties and your problems. Well I saw this man doing terrible things. I mean demented, freakish things. Not with a power, just as is. I have no subconscious fascination with serial killers or twisted freaks. Why am I seeing this guy doing these horrific things? Why am I seeing them so clearly, like I am in the room with him? Why can't I stop seeing glimpses of him? This isn't even when I'm sleeping in bed. On the bus, train as well.
Has anyone else had anything weird like this going on? All of this is happening way too fast, and I think I need help.
