I first realized that I could do something out of the ordinary when I started high school. Lots of people say that a stressful time like puberty can trigger unusual abilities, but I was very surprised when a few of my friends started commenting on it. This is gonna sound so strange, but I feel that I have the ability to persuade and convince people to feel and do things that they wouldn't normally do. It normally only manifests when I'm angry or under a lot of stress, and I don't know - this might be normal for teenage triggered abilities.

I try to avoid using it, and I would never use it on one of my friends. I've told teachers that "they are not going to give me detention and they will let me go" but I resent using it ‘cos its dishonest and I don't feel its morally right. I don't want to give it up, but I feel I always need to be careful in case I tell someone to do something that I later regret.

I saw a dream about a guy named Andrew Alexandra. In my dream he was a professor, with girls all around him. He had dark hair, he looked middle aged, and had slight hair on his cheeks. He doesn't shave or something. I found him on Google after this dream. His name is Andrew Alexandra. He's a professor for University of Melbourne. He's a doctor. He researches.

His picture looks exactly like the man in my dream. I've never seen this man in my entire life. I don't know what to make out of this.

Hey y'all, this sounds really weird and I don't really think at all that I have super abilities but once when I was ten (four years ago during the summer) I was really thirsty and I had a bottle of ROOM TEMPERATURE water, I put it to my lips AND-IT-FROZE, but not frozen like a block of ice, it was more like a slushee. If there's ANYONE out there who can explain this to me that would be COOL, apart from all this I have never tried to freeze anything else.

In this video, supercooled water is poured into a bowl, where it turns to slush. This was a scientific experiment someone besides Jimmy recorded, rather than a display of a special ability. Alexander The Pyrokinetic Telekinetic

When I get nervous objects that are in contact with me tend to break. As well I have some minor electromagnetic powers and possibly the ability to generate intense heat, possibly pyrokinesis, though objects don't generally burst into flames around me. I don't have much of any control over these abilities and as such my glasses have seen better days, the right lens doesn't stay in the frame and is chipped to hell despite being only a couple of months old and having not been worn while doing anything more than reading.

Hi. Ok here's what happened. I only just discovered that I can hear people's thoughts. Once I was walking and there was this guy and he stared at me and when he started walking off I closed my eyes and heard a bunch of voices and it sounded like someone put a stereo right up to my ear. And I'm only 14 so I couldn't take the sound. And when I opened my eyes I didn't hear anything. And another time, I was playing a video game and I held on to the controller for about 30 seconds and my game turned off and I suddenly felt energized.

Hello. I am from Spain. This is the first time I call it "superpowers", because I never called "that" with this name. There is something about me that marked all my life: fast learning of anything. I mean REALLY fast.

When I was little my behavior would mimic the weather. If I was bad it would rain. If I was good it would be sunny. A while back we had a drought in the Midwest. Unknown: The Precognitive Muscle Mimic

My powers are precognition while in dreams and sometimes awake, Super strength/durability, muscle mimicry, possible pyrokinetic internal/external, and I think minor healing. At a young age I had the first 3 and I think last ability. When I was three I saw clues of the future will asleep an just a couple of years ago, sort of like spidey sence. Even before I could remember I had great strength, durning school I started to lift weights and I would bench more than people who were older than me and hand muscle while I had muscleless arms. When I entered school, I loved to test my limits and would have people fight me (not out of violence, just out of sport) and I would get punched and kick and not feel pain or slow down. The other two I just recently, about 2-3 year ago, got. My muscle mimicry is still only a level two or three (there are about seven levels in my mind) but it does come in handy when I need it, it is my most recent ability, when I use it my eyes see things( like objects having mumbers around them and them moving slower) so its almost easy to copy but it kills my eyes so I can't use it much. My future sight, and pyrokinetic powers are weakening though like I can generate little or no heat from my hands now and my precognition is also slipping. The rest of my abilities are okay right now but I can feel them slipping way so if you can tell me what's go on, how to get my powers back to normal, and/or how to control them please I beg of you tell me.

I think I have super strength. When I was 11 I could lift my father over my shoulders and he's a big guy. All through my teenage years I showed amazing feats of strength which myself and my friends found well....amazing. I've snapped a pad lock off a door with one hand, lifted an engine of a car, pulled a bolted metal door off its hinges. When I played rugby I carried a boy in one hand and the ball in the other while running. Five of my friends couldn't lift a weight; when I came into the room without knowing they couldn't lift it, I moved it with one hand so I could sit down.

Well I'm 13 and recently every now and again a picture flashes in my mind and then like a minute later that picture happens. Like one time I was on the computer and an image of my uncle standing in the door way flashed into my head. Then, seconds later, he was standing in the door way in the exact position I had thought, but the strange thing is I didn't even know he was in my house. This is only one of the many times this has happened to me. Also lately when I calm myself and focus I have been able to make the wind speed rise and make trees and paper blow around. I believe I have some type of precognition. I'm not sure of the various divisions of that ability, but so far I have experienced a fair amount of dream precognition but more recently have experienced visions in waking life. Whilst images and predictions that occur whilst dreaming tend to revolve around something that doesn't happen for a relatively long amount of time (usually two weeks to a few months) in waking life it appears as something of short notice, warnings (which unlike the dreams, don't tend to be anything spectacular, and often rather mundane) may only happen a matter of days, or more likely hours before. With my experiences in waking life, I feel physical discomfort, tightening in the chest, severe of fatigue and dizziness and recently a warping of vision. During this my senses withdraw from the world around, and focus inwards. I experience a succession of images that unfold in my mind, though sound is infrequent. Usually this predicts illness in those around me.

Peter Can Enter A Trance And Dream The Future

I have somehow focused my mind enough to get in a trance state of mind and drift to sleep. (as seen by my assistants) Then while asleep I have dreams or visions of things to come. The perspective is my own where I see myself and others as from where I would have been. Sometimes I can see death -- only 3 out of the 47 times I had seen death. And one of those times I was able to save the person's life.

Aerokinesis, Hydrokinesis, and Electrokinesis. Sometimes I feel that having these gifts can seem like a curse. But it is rare I think such thoughts. I know that there is some kind of barrier or lock that is maybe preventing me from using the full extent of these talents. Currently, the effects aren't supreme, meaning that only some of this wonderous skill is leaking through gaps in what might be considered to be the 'soul'.

However, what if this psychic lock did break? Would my abilities become uncontrolable? Could I be considered dangerous to the rest of society? These and many questions more must be considered before even deciding whether breaking the barrier is a positive or negative option.

Someone Can Sense Emotions No Matter How Far Away

I've always been really skeptical of this stuff, even when my friends started telling me I was a "psychic." I'm not so sure anymore. Ever since I was very young, I've been empathic. Maybe it's just me, but I've been able to perceive how others feel, even from a long distance. Actually...From any distance, depending on how close I am emotionally to that person. Beyond that, I had a "precog" spell when I was a child, and I guess I can see "auras." But, more than anything, they're halos around people that get bigger when they're excited. They don't have colors and I can't diagnose conditions. And, being a devout skeptic, despite my own abilities, I think the whole aura thing is hubbub anyways.

I haven't seen anyone with a particularly large aura, but I have seen people with very small ones. Sometimes, I can't see them at all. However, I do see "auras" around things other than people. The first time I saw one, I was probably 13, and they appeared as lines around a tree. They looked like lines of spider silk that were floating around its trunk, but in a vertical pattern. I knew it wasn't simply spiders or silkworms; I saw it from the inside of my van.

Recently, I have been subject to increasingly severe visions. I've been viewing the recent presidential debates, sitcoms, and current events- mostly things on TV. This contrasts my previous spell which was entirely happenings within my own life. These experiences have intensified dramatically over the past week, and while I am intrigued by this increase I am also frightened for what it may bring.

Also, my empathy now transcends emotion. I have been doing experiments with a friend I met over the summer where he visualizes a shape and I guess it. I am correct more than is statistically reasonable to call chance.

My ability to view 'auras' has not changed. My eyesight has been diagnosed as 15-20, which is considered 'super vision'.

I had a dream about the 9/11 events... it was scary cause it woke me up in the middle of the night, I just sat there in my bed and then just shook it off as a nightmare... But then the next morning I was in my room getting dressed and I heard my mom yell out we're being attacked. I ran out of my room and I saw one the TV that my dream was coming true... I literally almost cried at the sight of it... I've never told any one about what I can do, not even my mom... I mean this ability some times scare me ‘cause I see people die or I'll sense danger and I immediately start withdrawing from everything and everybody... I have always felt like I was linked to others through some unknown force. I do have unnatural abilities, but the really important power belongs to my best friend, who shall remain nameless and genderless to protect their identity from anyone who would want to cause harm or disturb their peaceful life. As soon as I met this person I felt an automatic link to them, it happened back when we were 15. My friend's sibling had been bothering us the whole weekend, causing my friend a lot of unnecessary frustration. This was the night that my best friend's powers manifested, with little concentration my friend's sibling's eyes blistered over and the diagnosis had claimed a fever caused the blisters. Some how I knew that they could control biological functions. They used this ability to heal a sibling's psychological disorder, and to seize up the lungs of an assailant. I have seen these gifts in action and believe there are others like us and those who emulate us.

Starting with some family history, my mother has the ability to kill plants. If she even looks at them too intently, they wither.

I see the future in my dreams. Usually this is limited to seeing people hurt in various ways. I've tried changing things before but it has never worked. I can focus heat into my hands, not much though. I can lessen the pain of those around me by taking on half of it. Lastly I can feel things from a distance, kinda like touching it. Lately all of these have been becoming more powerful. That means either stronger, faster, or more frequent. This is what made me begin looking into this. Normally I would keep to myself. At the time of this writing I am 17.

John Can Trigger The Emotion Of Love In Others

I know you won't believe this is true... but it is. I can delve into the innermost hidden parts of the females (and probably males too) brains and trigger an emotion of love directed at myself. I have had this sort of manipulation since I was a child. I trance out as I gaze deep into their eyes and envision them being madly in love with me... It works every time, however tends to get me into heaps of trouble.

Also I can direct my energies into an inanimate object and focus it somewhere within a certain range. For example I can imagine the basketball in my hand making it through the basket while my eyes are closed or while my back is facing the hoop and every time I will hear a rewarding "Swoosh". You don't have to believe me but it is true and I'm only 21!

I give people bad luck, usually by just saying a simple thing to them. I can see who someone really is and what they are feeling just by looking into their eyes. I am consistently being proven right even when I ignore my own instincts. Some would not consider this much of a power, but it does come in handy.

I believe that these are connected in some way and I am still working on both finding the connection and learning control.

Oliver Senses How Others Are Feeling

I can tell what people are feeling, by this sense I get inside my head. It's not by simply looking at the body language or any of that. It feels almost like an intuitive understanding of others around me, that clouds my own mind sometimes. Recently I've noticed a lot of movement around me that has no reason. I've seen my pencil move without any wind or breeze, and other small objects. I've noticed it's when I think of one of my friends that this usually happens. I've been able to slightly move objects without thinking of that person, but found it's easier to do when I do think of that person. I've tried to do other things such as lift objects, but nothing yet, just slight movements. The most disturbing occurrence was last night when I was trying to move a cigarette cellophane. Instead of focusing on the movement out, I was feeling the pressure inside, and just like that the middle of the plastic bent inward.

We are essentially all one organism, that collectively builds on the whole. What I know, someone found out hundreds of years ago. We are the same. But i'm special...

I can duplicate the exact atomic structure of any inanimate object. They look exactly alike. However, if it is electronic, depending on how advanced it is, they sometimes don't work, or the original is damaged. I have not tried on a living thing yet, in fear of the fact that I might kill it.

Jagnethist93: I think I might have a power, but I'm not sure. Every now and then, I get this tingling sensation in my palms. It spreads up to my fingers, and if I move them close together, I can feel them trying to push each other away without touching them together. About 10 minuets after the sensation is gone, I get these purple-ish small splotches on my palm where it started and sometimes on my fingers. I was wondering if anyone can help me better understand what's going on. I need someone to help me!!!!

Someone Can Sense Emotions And Change Them In Others

I can impose my emotions onto others, it started simply enough with being able to read the emotions of others around me, no matter how hard they tried to hide them. I only seem to be able to remotely sense the feeling of those whom I'm very close with, my family and my small group of friends (which remains small since it's hard to trust people when you can read them like a book). Soon I discovered that with concentration I could turn depression into ecstasy and men, who claimed to be heterosexual (yes I'm @#!, not that it matters), to become completely smitten with me. I'll be the first to admit that I have used these abilities for my own personal gain, but sometimes it's really hard not to. I have been watching this board for a while now and I have come to the conclusion that a lot of the stories on here are a little far fetched. The only reason why I'm coming forward with my ability is because I've noticed that there are a few more individuals on here with similar gifts.
